Types of Cosmetic Surgery To Make You Beautiful

By: April Kerr

Description : In the beginning cosmetic surgery was a resort for those who had physical derangements due to accidents or birth defects. Later this method started getting prominence as a means of enhancing the physical appearance, rather than rectifying the affected parts. The most common types of cosmetic surgeries that people go in for are reduction of fats and tightening of skin. You should be aware of the risks and complications before you decide to go in for any type of cosmetic surgery. Here we discuss some types of cosmetic surgery

Lip Augmentation

Some may feel the need to make their lips look fuller and more sensuous and go in for lip augmentation. Here the cosmetic filler will be implanted inside your lips to make them look fuller. However, in due course the substance that has been injected gets absorbed by your body and you need to go for regular visits to your doctor to maintain your new look.

The substances that are injected are collagen, restylane and fat. It is a simple and quick process and you do not experience any pain as anesthesia is used. Before you go in for lip augmentation be aware of all the risks involved such as allergic reactions, soreness, bruises and redness. The expenses for this type of cosmetic surgery are pretty high and the rates vary.

Botox

This cosmetic surgery is one which removes the wrinkles from your face and neck to give you a more youthful look. The tiny creases and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead are made to disappear by injecting botox.

Facelift

This is one of the sophisticated and sometimes complicated types of cosmetic surgery. This is done on middle aged people. When you start ageing your lower jaw line starts losing its fineness and there are padding formations and a double chin develops. To augment the effects of a facelift, you can also have some minor surgeries such as blepharoplasty, forehead lift, mechanical dermabrasion, wrinkle therapy and chemical peel.

Liposuction and Hidroliposuction

The desire for an ideal body shape has made many to go under the knife and liposuction and hidroliposuction is responsible for removal of excess fatty tissues and cellulite from your body.

Breast Enlargement and Breast Reduction

This is one very common type of cosmetic surgery that women undergo to get the right breast size. In breast enlargement your breasts will be increased with silicone implants and in breast reduction the size of your breasts are reduced by applying breast hidroliposuction technique.

The other types of cosmetic surgeries are aesthetic nose and eye surgery, eyelid surgery, forehead lift, chemical face peel, breast lifts, correction of enlarged breasts of males, mechanical dermabrasion, removal of scars and tattoos, furrow therapy by the use of injections, Brachioplasty and shaping of the female outer genitalia portion.

How Painful Can Hair Loss Transplants Be?

by HazelHughes

There are many people who like to have hair loss transplants but have been turned off by the thought of the pain associated with it. Also many of them have scalps that are sensitive may be scared of having their scalps being cut. Of course, the degree of hair transplant pain is different for different people.

A few of those who have gone through hair loss transplants claim that it is just like visiting your dentist. This does not come out as if it is pain-free, and it is no way going to be an enjoyable experience. Nevertheless a few don't deny that there will be some degree of hair transplant pain.

Prior to the operations you will be given shots of the local anesthetic into your scalp, these are definitely sore to some degree. Most of us have had a tooth pulled, so we know that the tooth-pulling won't hurt if the tooth is deadened the right way. It occurs when the needle going in with medication to numb the tooth.

Naturally, to follow the dental analogy, after the numbing wears off there is plenty of pain where the tooth was before. With hair loss transplants, there is hair transplant pain after the surgery too. Swelling is normal after hair loss transplants and can even keep you away from work. Your skull may feel very strange for weeks.

The pain of hair loss transplants is unquestionably to a lesser extent sharp and a few do not even experience it as pain at all, but the anguish should not be equated to a tooth extraction. Uncomfortable feeling is what a lot of people experience. If any severe pain is felt, it is of a level that can be assisted with some doses of Tylenol.

However, there are people who have had hair transplant procedures done, oftentimes watch television or read magazines, being awake and alert the whole time. They say they do not feel that there is any pain involved at all. They brave the injections of the local anesthetic well. They are not daunted the least bit by the process.

Hair transplants surgery is surely more pain-free than it was in earlier times when larger sections of scalp were excised. This called for more cutting to take out the donor hair and more cutting to insert the donor hair into the recipient site.

Hair transplants surgery used to be a very painful operation in the past. This is one ground why you had better ask many questions as you look for a hair loss transplant surgeon. Not few doctors today have eased up up on older methods.

At once, the surgery is minimally encroaching, so that the scalp is no more disturbed than is necessary. Newest know-hows for hair loss transplants use only the follicular unit and not a large measure of surrounding tissue for the presenter grafts and therefore the amount of pain experienced is cut down considerably.

Ultimately, an experienced and skilled surgeon is of important key in having a less painful surgery when having your hair loss transplants. The procedure will induce you to a lesser extent of pain and bring out a better result for you in the bargain if the doctor acknowledges the best way to perform the surgery.

You Can'T Be Beautiful Unless You'Re Healthy

Author: John Parks

So you want to be beautiful. But how does one achieve true inner and outer beauty? The first step to achieving true beauty is really quite simple. To be beautiful on the outside, you must make sure you're beautiful and healthy on the inside. This is why it's of utmost importance to take care of your body's physical health, your inner health, along with your mind and inner self.

Outer beauty truly is directly related to inner health and wellness. You can't have one without the other, so it's best to take a pro-active approach to your physical, mental and emotional health to be able to achieve that outer "glow" of beauty that has become so desired in today's society. But make sure you're realistic. You aren't achieving outer beauty if your objective is simply to LOOK more beautiful.

True outer beauty comes with a sense of acceptance of self, a true peaceful spirit and a lack of obsession over physical appearance. One can't be beautiful if they are obsessed with being beautiful. If you try to use and follow every beauty tip you've ever come across or are told, then you won't succeed in becoming beautiful- you'll only drive yourself crazy in the attempt to achieve beauty.

Society's obsession with beauty is based on the superficial, and those who are beautiful and healthy tend to not be noticed as often. As unfair as it may be, it's even more unfair to worry yourself to death or obsess over it. Developing an obsessing or striving for perfection will damage your physical and mental health, sometimes to the point of no return.

While outer beauty is a good goal, something nice to strive for- it shouldn't be the entire basis of any health regimen you follow, nor should it become all you focus on. Embracing your own differences and those of others around you is key to being healthy, happy and beautiful. But you can't embrace your differences if you obsess and view those differences negatively.

If your nose is "too big" or "too small," recognize that it's a difference that makes you who you are. If you feel you're "too heavy" or "too thin," realize that you are who you are. Simply strive to live as healthily as possible, and don't fret about the rest. If you find yourself overweight- living healthy, eating properly, and getting enough rest will work wonders and eventually your body will find itself going towards the weight it needs to be.

And of course, you should always try to get enough sleep each night. Don't over-exert yourself physically or mentally, and make sure you're eating healthy meals and drinking plenty of water. Proper rest, physical activity and nutrition are of utmost importance for both your physical health and your outer beauty. Your mental health is also helped by maintaining proper nutrition and a good sleeping schedule.

Outer beauty is directly related to inner health, whether it is physical, mental or emotional. You can't be beautiful unless you are healthy. It's much more important to make sure you are healthy and well rested than worrying about the size of your nose or your body. Take care of your inner self first, and the outer self will glow because of your inner health and well-being. That's true beauty.

Alternative Treatment Options for Skin Cancer

by Nishanth Reddy

If you someday become diagnosed with skin cancer and survive, one of the most worrisome issues you will face will be preventing a recurrence of the cancer. After successful treatment, your doctor will continue to schedule regular follow-up appointments to ensure that you remain skin cancer-free. Even regular medical attention is no substitute for exercising good skin care habits.

First, make sure to avoid any kind of prolonged exposure to the sun. This means that you should avoid the prime daylight hours of ten in the morning to two in the afternoon. If you must be out, always wear an appropriate sun block, and avoid direct exposure to the sun by wearing long-sleeved shirts, wide-brimmed hats, and light colors that help reflect the sun away from your body. Most importantly, to prevent a recurrence of skin cancer, you must conduct regular self-examinations, and consult your doctor immediately if you note any discolorations or suspicious moles or lesions.

But, that is not always enough and sometimes the unthinkable happens. So, if you are diagnosed with skin cancer you should know what your alternatives are.

The most important objective in skin cancer treatment is to eliminate the growth and then contain the spread of the cancer. There are many alternatives that will be used depending on what the diagnosis is.

• Kaposi's sarcoma is very serious and must be treated by the use of chemotherapy.

• Melanoma, if it has spread, which is one of the dangers of this type of skin cancer, will be treated the same way once the initial growth has been removed.

• If Paget's disease is the type of skin cancer that must be treated then a mastectomy is likely the only alternative.

Nutrition

What about other alternatives to ensure that there will not be a reoccurrence? Some people believe, and studies have shown some evidence to collaborate this belief, that if you use other treatments alongside the standard medical procedures there are potentially better outcomes. Nutrition is believed to be a big factor in recovery.

Research shows that using proteins, antioxidants and folic acid that are found in a variety of foods, including fish, carrots and broccoli, a person is able to potentially protect their body from further damage by the cancer cells. Vitamin C is also thought to be a very useful fighter when is comes to skin cancer and its potential spread.

Green Tea

Some people faced with the worries of skin cancer choose to get the advice of health care providers who practice medicine differently like naturopathic doctors. Often their advice is on what herbs can be used to treat the cancer. They' tell you that green tea is believed by many to be a healthy drink because it contains polyphenois compounds. These are very storing antioxidants.

There is research to support this and studies have shown that polyphenois may not only prevent skin cancer but may play an important role in the treatment of diminishing skin growths. Some treatments suggest unusual action be taken like coffee enemas several times daily or castor oil intake, or restricting calories while eating lots of fruit and vegetables.

Other studies have shown that a certain enzyme that is found in a variety of foods; including, but not limited to broccoli, cauliflower, celery and cabbage are very beneficial. The enzyme those vegetables contain is called indoles. Indoles and lectins, found in beans, are a powerful combination against cancer growth. Although still in the experimental stages of research, with the high success rates of their experiments there is good reason to hope that eating foods high in these enzymes will be helpful in the fight against cancer.

Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action. If you still have unanswered questions about skin cancer, you may find what you're looking for in our website: http://www.skincancer-infoguide.com

Stop Grinding Teeth...Bruxism Cure Saves Smile And You Stop Grinding Teeth

Author: Avery Mann

As the economy worsens, stress is going to play a big part in our daily lives. As you know, stress can lead to heart problems, high blood pressure, ulcers, and for some grinding or clenching of the teeth. In fact, it is now widely understood by many experts that stress is the major cause of bruxism, the term given to the grinding and clenching of the teeth. The obvious problem is that people who suffer from bruxism wear away their tooth enamel, leading to tooth decay or worse. Clenching may in fact be worse for you than grinding, because the jaw is designed for chewing, not clenching. This all happens while you are sleeping, so how can you stop yourself?

There are many bruxism treatments on the market
. I'll bet that as you read this you are surrounded by them. Before you trust in some instrument or mold that some dentist offers, look at what using such a device will accomplish. These mouth guards, as they are called, are supposed to prevent your top teeth from touching the bottom ones. If you think about it, this method is flawed in two different ways. First of all, studies have shown that it is common for a sufferer to wake up the next morning, having chewed up the mouth guard. The second reason these devices fail, is that even if they successfully prevent you from grinding your teeth, it still hasn't gotten to the root of the problem. So you haven't stopped, you've just taken a detour.

Fear not if you are searching for other bruxism cures and treatments, there are a great deal of them. Besides traditional medicines and drugs, I'm sure you can find some herbs that might help. You can always try expensive therapy, an acupuncturist, maybe even a "craniologist." Here's a thought for you. Maybe there is a very simple program that won't cost an arm and a leg. If it were possible that for just a few minutes a day, this program will STOP you from grinding or clenching your teeth, would you put in the time? By making some simple life changes and performing daily 2-minute exercises you can be completely cured of bruxism. Think about it, no pills, therapy, or having to wear some funky mouth guard. A step-by-step, fully illustrated program reveals how to cure bruxism in just seven minutes a day. In addition you will also find out why the so-called experts are wrong about stress. Charles Harrison, a longtime bruxism sufferer has done all the experimenting and leg work for you. His program, "Save your Smile, Stop Grinding," will give you everything you need to stop grinding and clenching your teeth. You can find it at:

My RecomMANNdations You can find this and many more Natural Cures . Naturally cure acid reflux, constipation, lower blood pressure, end anxiety, stress, and more. The pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know, but I do.
