True Beauty - Tips to Help Boost Your Beauty Confidence

By Russell Watson

Women are constantly reminded of having to always look beautiful and the millions of ways they can accomplish it. True beauty is unique to the individual but every woman has the ability to boost her beauty confidence. By following these essential beauty tips, you can find ways to feel good about yourself and your appearance.

First off, you must come to the realization that the hundreds of women you see in the media who almost always look gorgeous are made to look that way because it's their job. They have personal makeup artists and physical trainers who constantly make them look good. If you had those professionals at hand, you would look just as presentable. Don't put yourself down or feel that you can never look like those celebrities on television because they are not the definition of true beauty for all women.

Speaking of true beauty, another important aspect is embracing your own features because those are what define you. You may not have a team of specialized professionals always making you look good, but you can pick up a few beauty habits to enhance your looks on your own. Getting a haircut is one of the surest ways to give yourself a new look every now and then and a new hair cut always gives women a confidence boost. Haircuts also keep your hair healthy and shiny and you can try different ways of styling such as straightening, curling, ponytails, etc.

Wearing makeup is not a bad thing if you learn what looks best for you. You can go minimal and neutral if you like a natural style or go all out for a more glamorous look. There are a number of cosmetic products that you can choose from including the lines of cosmetics on "Love Your Beauty" that will really help you accentuate your features and true beauty. Keep your makeup to the basic cover up, eye liner, mascara, blush and lip gloss for daily wear and add on eye shadow, glow powder, lip liner, lipstick for an event or evening wear.

Other ways to improve your appearance and overall confidence is by fixing your eyebrows and also maintaining your nails with either neutral colors or bold and seasonal colors. Having your nails fixed is a definite confidence booster.

Aside from these essential beauty tips, another aspect of beauty for women is to have goals. By setting personal, financial and career goals and accomplishing them, you can find ways to feel confident and proud of who you are. Beauty is just one aspect of it all, but an important one!

There are many websites and retailers in the world that can get any beauty cosmetics. Here at Love Your Beauty we offer discount prices on all aspects of beauty cosmetics.

Why Is Organic Makeup Better than Traditional Makeup?

by Lilina

Women like to wear makeup because it makes their skin look smoother and can give them a glow even when they're blotchy and tired.

The best makeup is also good for your skin, contributing something rather than just covering over flaws. It lubricates and provides protection from the elements of weather and sun.

Traditional makeup was developed only for the purpose of appearance. Whatever needs to be in there to look good is what's added. And it may not even look good on your face! Women are notorious for shopping around a drug store and picking up a basket of cosmetics that basically look good in the package or were well advertised in magazines and on television.

The chemicals and artificial ingredients found in many cosmetics are not usually good for your skin. They may cover up some blemishes or provide a unified color, but your skin is no better for wearing it and may even suffer consequences like blocked pores or absorption of toxic substances.

Organic makeup has been devised to deal with the organic you. You are one unified body and mind together. Your skin cells reproduce and are shed naturally. Organic makeup contains natural substances that your skin needs. It has vitamins and minerals to enrich your skin, both topically and internally as it is absorbed so that your body suffers no ill effects from wearing the cosmetic.

If you want to do the best for your skin as you apply makeup to your face, look for natural, organic cosmetics that don't just cover up flaws but help prevent future damage.

Traditional Face Lift Vs Beauty Lift?

By Dr. Amir Rassoli

Patients seek out face lifts for several reasons, the most common being the desire to remove wrinkles and sagging from their face in an effort to appear younger and more beautiful. A traditional face lift, also known as a rhytidectomy, is one of the top 10 cosmetic surgery procedures performed today. A Beauty Lift, utilizing the Serdev Suture Suspension technique, is an alternative to traditional face lifts offering no scarring and a very fast period of recovery.

Face lift surgery takes several hours, as surgeons make a large incision from the ear to the hairline, tighten tissues, remove loose skin and 'lift' the remaining skin, finishing up the procedure with sutures. It does leave scars, although they are usually not easily visible due to their discreet placement. A rhytidectomy is major surgery, usually requiring a general anesthetic. Recovery is not immediate, and most patients require several weeks to resume normal activities. There are several complications which can occur with face lift procedures, including bleeding, infection and necrosis of the skin flaps. There is usually significant swelling and bruising around the incision areas post-surgery, and numbness in the face which can last up to several months.

A much simpler, yet still very effective procedure, is the "Serdev Suture" lift. Utilizing smaller incisions and elastic suture methods, this Beauty Lift procedure is a much less invasive alternative. The Serdev technique is less traumatic for the patient, leaving no scars and offering a rapid recovery with less swelling. Many Beauty Lift patients are able to rapidly resume normal activities. Beauty Lift procedures are performed using local anesthetic, so patients are able to drive themselves to and from the procedure.

Preperation Tips For Straightening Your Hair

by G A Greco

Having straight hair is many a girls dream - smooth silky and sleek hair that can look both stylish and casual with a little tinkering. Thanks to advances in hair care technology, straight hair is not longer a dream. We now have some great professional standard hair tools to help us style and finish are hair at home to the highest standard. These include ghd hair straighteners, vogetti hair styler and corioliss digital hair straighteners - all great product which deliver great results. The only problem we have now is the ability to use these great products correctly to get the optimum results. So here we are going to take you through some basic steps of preparation so you can style your hair like the professional using your hair straighteners.

To begin with you will need to make sure you hair is washed and fully conditioned before you use your hair straighteners. This may seem very obvious, but you maybe very surprised by the amount of people who forget this basic step. This is important because if you leave old products in your hair they begin to buildup and you hair can become clogged and heavy. You then apply heat to these old dried up products and the products will begin to burn and melt and eventually damage your hair. So, just remember to wash your hair at least twice to make sure you get rid of all that nasty old build up. For best results try and use a professional shampoo and conditioner. You maybe tempted by the price of supermarket hair products, but they are not good for your hair, they have silicone and other chemicals that in the long run will do more damage than good.

The next step will be to blow dry and brush out your hair. This is also important, you do not have to fully blowdry your hair, just make sure it is not loner damp. Even at this stage we would recommend that you use some form of heat protection. Heat protection products can come in the form of creams, sprays and waxes (which also have stylining properties). Even though professional hair straighteners are much better than your run of the mill styling tools any extreme heat can damage your hair and that includes hair dryers too.

Know that your hair is fully prepared you can begin to straighten your hair. Again remember to add a very small amount of heat protection product to your hair. Try not to overload the hair, because this can make the hair look dull, heavy and lank. If you have prepared you hair correctly the whole hair straightening process should not take to long - just two or three pull throughs is all you should really need to get the job done.

Best Wrinkle Cream Guide - 3 Tips to Great Skin

By Jillian K. Johnson

Shocking information that the skin care companies hope you never find out regarding the best wrinkle cream on the market. A lot has recently been made about the aging of our skin. If you aren't familiar with how our skin ages, there are two proteins called collagen and elastin that our body produces to ensure our skin stays healthy and retains moisture.

Unfortunately as we age we produce less and less collagen and elastin. So the skin care manufacturers are capitalizing on the wrinkle cream market by selling products with collagen and elastin in them. Now this seems like a logical ingredient to add to their wrinkle creams but they don't tell you certain information that you need to know, such as adding collagen and elastin to any product renders them useless.

Let me explain, collagen on a molecular level is to big to be absorbed by our skin. So no matter how much of the best wrinkle cream in the world you put on your skin, if there are collagen and elastin in the ingredients you wasted your money. Now on the flip side all isn't lost.

Here are 3 natural substances that have shown incredible results because they actually stimulate the body to produce it's own collagen and elastin. The best wrinkle creams in the world are the one that don't actually contain collagen and elastin at all, but help the body to produce it's own supply of these two vital proteins.

The first tip is to use a natural substance I found that is derived from New Zealand called Cynergy TK. Cynergy TK is made from the wool of sheep and not only has clinically been proven to stimulate the bodies own natural production of collagen and elastin but also show a dramatic increase in the skin's ability to retain moisture (say goodbye to dry skin) and improve skin's elasticity (human volunteers had seen as much as a 160% improvement in just 18days!).

The second tip is to use a product of a special kind of sea kelp found in the waters of Japan called Phytessence Wakame. This natural substance inhibits a very harmful enzyme(hyaluronidase) which breaks down hyaluronic acid in your skin. What this does, and it's been clinically proven, is to cause your levels of hyaluronic acid to gradually rise to the amounts found in very young people. (hello fountain of youth for your skin)

The third tip is to use a special form of CoEnzyme Q10 called Nano-Lipobelle H EQ 10. This 'nano-emulsion' form can actually penetrate over 7 layers of your skin, effectively eating up the free radicals in your skin. This has a dramatic and sensational anti wrinkle effect that will have you feeling 20 years younger.

Follow these three tips and you'll be on your way to the best wrinkle cream you have ever used. Plus if you are interested in learning about the other natural substances I have discovered, visit my website today where I reveal my top rated natural substance to look for in skin care products.

Is the Demand For Mommy Makeovers Rising?

By A Aaronson

More and more moms are going in to the plastic surgeon these days for what is popularly known as the "mommy makeover." This group of procedures that normally includes a tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lifts and augmentations has been gaining traction in today's world for many reasons.

For one, many women are waiting to have children these days until they are in their late thirties to mid-forties, in order to finish all their schooling and build their careers before embarking on motherhood.

While this may seem ideal for some goals, it has been shown that it is harder for women to lose pregnancy weight the older they are. This can be a hard pill to swallow in addition to the normal post-pregnancy changes of sagging breasts, loosened tummy muscles, and thicker thighs. This leads many of these older moms reason to seek surgical alternatives.

Another result of women waiting to have children is that many of them have money to spend on cosmetic surgery procedures because they have already established themselves financially.

And as plastic surgery becomes more commonplace and more socially acceptable, these women with resources are turning more readily to the surgeon's knife for help in restoring their pre-baby figures.

What is a Mommy Makeover?

The Tummy Tuck-pregnancy stretches out and elongates the abdominal muscles leaving them to bulge out in a pooch over the belly. Diet and exercise alone cannot tighten these muscles to their former tight positioning. A tummy tuck can remove excess stomach skin but it will also rejoin the abdominal muscles with sutures, allowing them to sit flat against the underlying tissues again.

Liposuction-This can be performed in the stomach and love handle areas during a tummy tuck, but many women opt for more extensive liposuction in their hips, buttocks, and thighs during the mommy makeover. This is simply the breaking down and removal of fat in targeted areas of the body.

Breast Lifts-During pregnancy and breast feeding, the breasts grow and often get stretch marks. After breast-feeding, they can go limp and lifeless-a great combination. A breast lift can reduce excess, sagging skin and restore the original position and perkiness of the breasts.

Breast Augmentation-Many women find that their breasts shrink by a size or so after breastfeeding, which is particularly annoying to women who were small-breasted to begin with. A breast augmentation can go perfectly with a breast lift, adding volume and shape to the post-baby breasts with saline or silicone implants. Mommy makeovers are indeed on the rise, perhaps because they are also very safe and effective in restoring self-confidence.

In []Valencia, mommy makeover is becoming popular especially if you want to lose the post pregnancy weight. Enhance your looks and regain your lost confidence. To know more, visit

Mommy Makeover Cosmetic Surgery Rising Dramatically

By Allan Parungao, MD

Moms willingly make sacrifices for their children -- but now their youthful figure doesn’t have to be one of them. A Mommy Makeover can restore a woman’s pre-pregnancy figure, and give her self-confidence a lift as well.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 325,000 tummy tuck, breast implant and breast lift procedures were performed on women ages 20-39 in 2006. This represents an 11% increase in "Mommy Makeover" procedures over 2005 statistics, and is more than five times higher than the 2% overall growth in cosmetic surgery procedures during that one-year period.

What is a Mommy Makeover?

A Mommy Makeover is a combination of plastic surgery procedures to rejuvenate a woman's figure after pregnancy, childbearing and breastfeeding. Depending on a woman's needs, her Mommy Makeover may include a breast lift and/or breast implants, a tummy tuck, liposuction and even an eyelid lift or facelift.

The most common complaints among women who have had children are sagging breasts or loss of breast volume, and stretch marks and/or loose skin over the abdomen. Today, even women who had never thought about plastic surgery are having Mommy Makeovers.

"I never used to understand why anyone would spend money on plastic surgery," admits Rachel, age 34, a mother of two. "But when a friend who had a tummy tuck and a breast lift came over one day and I saw the results, I thought again!

"I wanted to get something done for my saggy stomach," Rachel recalls. Then she thought about the unevenness in her breasts after breastfeeding and said to herself, "If I’m going to get a tummy tuck, I may as well get my breasts done, too."

Rachel had a tummy tuck and breast implant surgery, and is thrilled with the results. "I was a B cup in one breast and a C cup in the other," she says. "Now I’m a firm D. And it’s incredible how flat my tummy is!"

When is the right time for a Mommy Makeover?

Some women choose to have several procedures done at the same time. Others prefer to have separate procedures eight to 12 weeks apart. It's advisable to wait at least six months after giving birth before having plastic surgery. Nursing moms should wait six months after their baby is weaned.

Feel like you did before you had kids

Patient satisfaction with Mommy Makeover surgery is especially high. After a Mommy Makeover, women are thrilled as their jeans fit better, their breasts are more beautiful and they look in the mirror and see the figure they had before children.

In Rachel's case, it was a matter of realizing what was important to her. "I realize now that different things make different people happy," she explains. "For me, it wasn’t clothes, it wasn’t jewelry, it wasn’t vacations. I have to be happy with myself first, and now I am.

"For the rest of my life, I’ll always be a mom and I’ll always have to put my children first," Rachel concludes. "A Mommy Makeover is the one thing in my life I had to do just for me. And I don’t think that was too much to ask for."

Do You Know These Steps to Beautiful Hands?

By Louise Forrest...

Do you see hands of other women and wish yours looked as good as theirs do? Maybe you visit a manicurist frequently and need to save a bit of money.

While I do not recommend that you completely toss your manicurist because of the many benefits that are achieved through the hand and arm massage, I do think that you can cut back on these visits. To make your hands look their best from home, you need to know how to do a proper manicure (sans the massage, which is not very relaxing to do to yourself).

To perform an at home manicure, you will need: a 4 way buffer, a pair of nail clippers, a soft toothbrush, cuticle oil, polish (base, color and top coat), a hand towel or washcloth, and a bowl filled with warm water and a mild, antibacterial soap.

If you like, you may want to get a bottle of cuticle oil, but many men opt to avoid this step. Even if you have just washed you hands, you need to use the antibacterial soap in your water; if you should happen to cut yourself, you do not want bacteria to enter the wound.

Dip one hand in the warm water for about five minutes. Take it out, brush the tops of the nails and under the free edge (white tip), and dry with your hand towel (or washcloth). To dry the nails, rub the towel up your nail, pushing against the cuticle. If you always dry your hands this way (after hand washing, showering, etc), your cuticles will naturally become exfoliated and look neater.

I do not recommend using cuticle nippers or scissors because they will cause your cuticle to become thicker in time.

Trim your nails using the nail clippers. This should not go into the corners of the nail as it can cause a variety of conditions (especially on toes when you cut the corners too deep).

On your 4 way buffer, you can feel the different grits by feeling how rough each section is. Use the roughest section and file the free-edge, rounding the corners (you do not want to scratch anyone).

Using the surface that is the slightly smoother, go back along the edges, removing the filings that you can see. Rub your finger across each edge, smoothing rough places with this same section of the file.

Now, using the smoothest surface (aside from the grey, rubber section), lightly buff the tops of your nails to remove light ridges. Deep ridges cannot be removed because you file too much nail away trying to get rid of them.

This step is only used if you are not going to use any polish, buff the nail with the rubber section of your 4 way buffer. Apply a tiny amount of cuticle oil to each cuticle and massage into the nail and cuticle (you DO NOT want to apply cuticle oil right now if you are planning to polish you nails as the polish will not adhere to the nail properly and may take much longer to dry.

If you are using polish, apply your base coat now, taking care not to apply it too thick. Base coat is a must if you want to grow your nails or you are using colored polish. If you only want a clear polish, simply apply two coats of this base coat and let dry. Again, if you are ONLY using this clear polish, apply your cuticle oil, applying a tiny amount to each cuticle and massage into the nail and cuticle.

If you chose to use colored polish, you may now apply it. Take care to avoid getting the polish on your cuticles. You may need (and usually do need) to use two coats of polish and let them dry partway. If you do accidentally get it on cuticle, you can usually peel it off after a nice warm shower or bath.

Apply your topcoat and let dry. Apply your cuticle oil, applying a tiny amount to each cuticle and massage into the nail and cuticle and voila! You are finished.

Which Hair Style Suits You? - Short, Long, Spiky, Sleek, The Bob, Straight, Curly?

Jessica Alba Inspired Hairsyle

by Sarah H

Hair styles are like stars in the sky; no one knows exactly how many there are! It may sound funny, but it's actually pretty true. There seems to be a hair style for every type, texture, and color of hair, for every occasion and for every personality including who opt for letting a professional work his/her magic and those who prefer to experiment in their own bathrooms. It's amazing what can be done with hair. It is so versatile to work with and anything that is done to your hair in terms of styling can be undone and even if it may take a few months the significance here is that it is not permanent, which is probably the reason that people experiment so much. So what have some of these experiments yielded over the years? Incalculable different types of hair styles! And here are just a few of the many, many types.

For starters, going short is a hairstyle in itself, and if you wish to get a short hairstyle, you have a vast range of types of short hair styles to choose from. The Bob is probably the most sought after short hair style simply because it is both trendy and easy to manage. But the bob cut can be altered in a variety of ways to make it a completely new type of bob hairstyle. There are all-in-one length bobs, inverted bobs, layered bobs and bobs with long, short sweeping, fringed or choppy bangs among others. Color and highlights are also used to give bobs of any type depth and difference.

Apart from the bob hairstyle, which is fairly long compared to other types of short cuts, the variety of styles is just as vast. For those wanting to go really short, you have the option of choosing the ‘short and sleek' style which is great for dead-straight, full hair, there is also the ‘short cropped' and ‘short and spiky' styles that are edgy and fresh and the ‘pixie cuts' that are cute but sexy. Again, color and highlighting can make the difference between an ordinary short hairstyle and an extraordinary short hairstyle!

Like short hairstyles, long hairstyles come in an equally vast range of different types and variations. Long hair in general, is a style, but it does not work for everyone, especially those with fine or thin hair as the weight that comes with the length will make hair look stringy and even more flat. But for those who find that long hair works, there are numerous things you can do to add more life or appeal to your hair. Going curly, or straightening curly hair are great ways to change up your look for different occasions. Changing your hair color or adding highlights, are also great ways to change your look on a more seasonal level, for instance many people opt for highlight during summer.

But when it comes down to the actual cut of your long hair, that should be determined on various factors the major of which is the shape of your face. The shape of your face will lead you to choosing a haircut that will suit you best. Short bangs, or sweeping bangs, parting hair in different ways are also great ways to enhance a hair cut. Also it is a good idea to start collecting hair accessories to keep your long hair looking stylish, but tidy and out of the way when it's down. Headbands, lace, ribbon, barrettes, jeweled or beaded clips and pins are the daily staples of long hair devotees.

The vast and varied types of hairstyles can be easily seen on everyone walking around, but remember that everyone has different qualities, features, bone structures and personalities so what's good for someone else may not necessarily be good for you. But the good news is that if you see a type of hairstyle style or cut that is appealing to you, you should get some professional advice on how it will look on you, and if you find that the particular style or cut will not do you justice you and your hairdresser can come up with a variation of the style that you like and that will look great on you, and this is the benefit of having so many styles, types and cuts to choose from when it comes to your hair.

Get Kissable Lips With Lip Agumentation And Limited Surgery

by Dave Stringham

Angelina Jolie - sexy lips

During the past decade, the size and shape of lips has gained special attention and prominence in the sphere of cosmetic surgery. Enhanced, full, sensuous lips have become the accepted standard as a characteristic of beauty. Great emphasis has been placed on the full lip in glamour and fashion magazines, which has influenced millions of women to achieve this look.

Lip enhancement gained particular popularity in the late 1980's with the invention and availability of Collagen. Over the past decade plastic surgeons have looked for a variety of ways to achieve this look with products and methods that are both safe and long lasting. Today the most popular techniques include Hylaforms, such as Restylane and Juvaderm, Collagen, and Fat injection.

One of the most sexy and youthful features of the face are the lips. Luscious, plump, and full lips are signs of youth, health, and fertility. As we age our lips lose their fullness and volume. The upper lip sags and becomes thinner. Meanwhile, fine wrinkles develop around the lips which are called "lipstick lines" or "smoker's lines".

Lip augmentation consists of a variety of procedures designed to give a person more defined and fuller lips. Besides enlarging the lips, lip fillers or implants are also used to balance the upper and lower lips.

Injection of fillers such as Collagen, Hylaform, Juvederm, and fat into the lips is an easy way of enlarging or shaping the lips. Collagen is commercially available through plastic surgeons, but before having this procedure, you must first pass a collagen allergy test.

Lip augmentation advantages are, it does not require surgery and it is relatively inexpensive. Its disadvantage is that it is not permanent and usually lasts 3-5 months.

Other newer injectable fillers such as those mentioned above usually last much longer than collagen and don't need to be allergy tested. Fat, tendon, or dermal grafting is another method used for lip augmentation. They require harvesting of the fat, dermis, or tendon from another area of the body. Its biggest disadvantage is that the lips remain swollen and inflamed for a much longer period than when synthetic fillers are used.

These procedures like any other surgical procedure carry certain risks and have potential for complications. There is a risk of infection, which is minimized by taking antibiotics.

Lip augmentation is an excellent, minimally invasive technique used to augment thin lips and improve the shape of one's lips. Thin lips can appear at any age, while changes in shape and the appearance of fine wrinkles can be a function of the aging process.

This method can be used to rebuild volume as well as fill in fine lines around the mouth. A lush, sensuous and youthful look is quickly achievable. As with all Plastic Surgery, the goal is to improve self-image and, in turn, invigorate self-confidence.

Best Firming Lotion- 6 Sure-Fire Tips For A More Youthful You

- By: Brandy Moser

I was reading a skin firming lotion review and the writer stated the winner was a popular, heavily advertised brand that you will find in most department stores. I was surprised at the writer's choice for best firming lotion but then realized he was selling the product also.

A review can be convincing but it's always best if you know the facts and that's what I want to give you. Below are tips to help you make your decision.

1. Many of the highly advertised products such as the lotion that was rated best by the reviewer above aren't what you should be using. Many of these well known lotions contain synthetic chemicals which are at least irritating and at worst toxic. Products containing toxic chemicals and preservatives are to be avoided.

2. An organic product with natural essential oils will usually also contain keratin, manuka honey and other firming ingredients. Many of the best natural products also have antioxidant agents as well as compounds that promote the production of collagen by your skin. Antioxidants are important for toning and slowing of the aging process. Collagen is needed as we age to firm and keep the skin elastic.

3. The best firming lotion will also plump your skin up and really rejuvenate the skin by creating a healthy atmosphere so that the pores breathe easily and your face isn't greasy.

4. A legitimate skin firming lotion review should be open about side effects of the products. A great organic product will not contain chemical additives, fragrances and preservatives. Instead you will find only healthy, natural ingredients that the skin will absorb easily and will result in the healthful glow you're looking for.

5. Remember that what you rub into your skin will work its way into your bloodstream. This means that toxic chemicals can affect your health along with possible irritation and the formation of red, blotchy areas.

6. This skin firming lotion review is being written to help you make not only the choice of the best product but more importantly the safest product. I've found that the heavily advertised and marketed products are usually the products with chemical additives and other negative ingredients.

You'll find the organic choice is somewhat more expensive but this is your skin and especially your sensitive face we're talking about here. I want you to look and feel your best and a healthy glow with reduction of wrinkles and lines will result in a happier you guaranteed.

Have you heard that youth is wasted on the young? Let's not waste a minute. Check out the exciting look and feel young info.

Why Your Hair Dye is Burning Your Scalp - Itchy Scalp and Hair Dyes

By Roger james

What's The Link Between Itchy Scalp and Hair Dyes?

Hair dyes can cause allergic reactions, typically resulting in a red, burning itchy scalp. This problem can usually be dealt with fairly easily if action is taken early on, when you first notice some irritation or something simply not quite right with your scalp.

Unfortunately many folks don't always know the link between their itchy scalp and hair dyes, or they will buy special shampoos and conditioners to treat their condition without realising that many of these big name products contain very harsh chemicals that can aggravate and even worsen your tender itchy scalp condition.

So What's In A Hair Dye?

Typically the nastiest culprit of an itchy scalp and hair dyes problem is the chemical Phenylenediamine (PPD). This is known as a contact allergen, and can result in a nasty itchy scalp...or in doctor-speak, sensitisation dermatitis. It absorbs itself into the skin causing serious irritation. If inhaled it can cause throat irritation, and bronchial asthma, and in extreme cases has led to blindness from contact with the eyes.

It is often found in many hair dyes, as well as leather dyes, fur dyes, various printer inks and photographic products. Some manufacturers of these products have explicitly stated that PPD should not be used directly on the skin, however most manufacturers of PPD often do not do the same, and neglect to tell the consumer and end-user the dangers associated with this compound.

Other harmful chemicals found in hair dyes include Hydrogen Peroxideand Ammonia. Most off-the-shelf brands of hair dyes and even some gentler salon hair dyes contain one or more of these chemicals.

What Can We Do To Solve The Itchy Scalp and Hair Dyes Problem?

First of all, I would advise that the next time you go to a salon, ask for a "sensitive scalp" hair dye. There are many brands which are NOT harmful and can leave your hair in much healthier condition due to their gentler active ingredients and conditioning properties.

Second, make sure you're using a natural pH-balanced shampoo, that doesn't contain the harmful chemicals like Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) and Propylene Glycol. These will only serve to aggravate your itchy scalp problem.

Finally, you can try a natural itchy scalp remedy Chamomile is excellent at soothing an itchy scalp and is readily available and 100% natural.

Either buy some chamomile tea from your local health store or make your own by simply boiling a pint of water and adding 2 teaspoons of chamomile flowers. Chamomile oil is also wonderful when dabbed on itchy scalp sores, and is the perfect treatment for problems caused by an itchy scalp and hair dyes.

Are There Any Natural Hair Dyes?

Henna is a natural dye which thickens hair (coats it), as well while coloring your hair safely, and thus any Henna based dyes should be fine (providing they contain no chemicals such as the dreaded phenylenediamine of course).

Henna naturally gives hair a red through auburn to deep brown colour but you can mix it with other herbs to give other colours.

It can be purchased on it's own or already mixed, ready to be applied and is one of the few things that can cover grey hair successfully.

Also, unlike chemical hair dyes the colour builds up and deepens over time too - so if you dye it a few times a year it will get deeper and richer each time.

Types of Cosmetic Surgery To Make You Beautiful

By: April Kerr

Description : In the beginning cosmetic surgery was a resort for those who had physical derangements due to accidents or birth defects. Later this method started getting prominence as a means of enhancing the physical appearance, rather than rectifying the affected parts. The most common types of cosmetic surgeries that people go in for are reduction of fats and tightening of skin. You should be aware of the risks and complications before you decide to go in for any type of cosmetic surgery. Here we discuss some types of cosmetic surgery

Lip Augmentation

Some may feel the need to make their lips look fuller and more sensuous and go in for lip augmentation. Here the cosmetic filler will be implanted inside your lips to make them look fuller. However, in due course the substance that has been injected gets absorbed by your body and you need to go for regular visits to your doctor to maintain your new look.

The substances that are injected are collagen, restylane and fat. It is a simple and quick process and you do not experience any pain as anesthesia is used. Before you go in for lip augmentation be aware of all the risks involved such as allergic reactions, soreness, bruises and redness. The expenses for this type of cosmetic surgery are pretty high and the rates vary.

This cosmetic surgery is one which removes the wrinkles from your face and neck to give you a more youthful look. The tiny creases and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead are made to disappear by injecting botox.

This is one of the sophisticated and sometimes complicated types of cosmetic surgery. This is done on middle aged people. When you start ageing your lower jaw line starts losing its fineness and there are padding formations and a double chin develops. To augment the effects of a facelift, you can also have some minor surgeries such as blepharoplasty, forehead lift, mechanical dermabrasion, wrinkle therapy and chemical peel.

Liposuction and Hidroliposuction

The desire for an ideal body shape has made many to go under the knife and liposuction and hidroliposuction is responsible for removal of excess fatty tissues and cellulite from your body.

Breast Enlargement and Breast Reduction

This is one very common type of cosmetic surgery that women undergo to get the right breast size. In breast enlargement your breasts will be increased with silicone implants and in breast reduction the size of your breasts are reduced by applying breast hidroliposuction technique.

The other types of cosmetic surgeries are aesthetic nose and eye surgery, eyelid surgery, forehead lift, chemical face peel, breast lifts, correction of enlarged breasts of males, mechanical dermabrasion, removal of scars and tattoos, furrow therapy by the use of injections, Brachioplasty and shaping of the female outer genitalia portion.

How Painful Can Hair Loss Transplants Be?

by HazelHughes

There are many people who like to have hair loss transplants but have been turned off by the thought of the pain associated with it. Also many of them have scalps that are sensitive may be scared of having their scalps being cut. Of course, the degree of hair transplant pain is different for different people.

A few of those who have gone through hair loss transplants claim that it is just like visiting your dentist. This does not come out as if it is pain-free, and it is no way going to be an enjoyable experience. Nevertheless a few don't deny that there will be some degree of hair transplant pain.

Prior to the operations you will be given shots of the local anesthetic into your scalp, these are definitely sore to some degree. Most of us have had a tooth pulled, so we know that the tooth-pulling won't hurt if the tooth is deadened the right way. It occurs when the needle going in with medication to numb the tooth.

Naturally, to follow the dental analogy, after the numbing wears off there is plenty of pain where the tooth was before. With hair loss transplants, there is hair transplant pain after the surgery too. Swelling is normal after hair loss transplants and can even keep you away from work. Your skull may feel very strange for weeks.

The pain of hair loss transplants is unquestionably to a lesser extent sharp and a few do not even experience it as pain at all, but the anguish should not be equated to a tooth extraction. Uncomfortable feeling is what a lot of people experience. If any severe pain is felt, it is of a level that can be assisted with some doses of Tylenol.

However, there are people who have had hair transplant procedures done, oftentimes watch television or read magazines, being awake and alert the whole time. They say they do not feel that there is any pain involved at all. They brave the injections of the local anesthetic well. They are not daunted the least bit by the process.

Hair transplants surgery is surely more pain-free than it was in earlier times when larger sections of scalp were excised. This called for more cutting to take out the donor hair and more cutting to insert the donor hair into the recipient site.

Hair transplants surgery used to be a very painful operation in the past. This is one ground why you had better ask many questions as you look for a hair loss transplant surgeon. Not few doctors today have eased up up on older methods.

At once, the surgery is minimally encroaching, so that the scalp is no more disturbed than is necessary. Newest know-hows for hair loss transplants use only the follicular unit and not a large measure of surrounding tissue for the presenter grafts and therefore the amount of pain experienced is cut down considerably.

Ultimately, an experienced and skilled surgeon is of important key in having a less painful surgery when having your hair loss transplants. The procedure will induce you to a lesser extent of pain and bring out a better result for you in the bargain if the doctor acknowledges the best way to perform the surgery.

You Can'T Be Beautiful Unless You'Re Healthy

Author: John Parks

So you want to be beautiful. But how does one achieve true inner and outer beauty? The first step to achieving true beauty is really quite simple. To be beautiful on the outside, you must make sure you're beautiful and healthy on the inside. This is why it's of utmost importance to take care of your body's physical health, your inner health, along with your mind and inner self.

Outer beauty truly is directly related to inner health and wellness. You can't have one without the other, so it's best to take a pro-active approach to your physical, mental and emotional health to be able to achieve that outer "glow" of beauty that has become so desired in today's society. But make sure you're realistic. You aren't achieving outer beauty if your objective is simply to LOOK more beautiful.

True outer beauty comes with a sense of acceptance of self, a true peaceful spirit and a lack of obsession over physical appearance. One can't be beautiful if they are obsessed with being beautiful. If you try to use and follow every beauty tip you've ever come across or are told, then you won't succeed in becoming beautiful- you'll only drive yourself crazy in the attempt to achieve beauty.

Society's obsession with beauty is based on the superficial, and those who are beautiful and healthy tend to not be noticed as often. As unfair as it may be, it's even more unfair to worry yourself to death or obsess over it. Developing an obsessing or striving for perfection will damage your physical and mental health, sometimes to the point of no return.

While outer beauty is a good goal, something nice to strive for- it shouldn't be the entire basis of any health regimen you follow, nor should it become all you focus on. Embracing your own differences and those of others around you is key to being healthy, happy and beautiful. But you can't embrace your differences if you obsess and view those differences negatively.

If your nose is "too big" or "too small," recognize that it's a difference that makes you who you are. If you feel you're "too heavy" or "too thin," realize that you are who you are. Simply strive to live as healthily as possible, and don't fret about the rest. If you find yourself overweight- living healthy, eating properly, and getting enough rest will work wonders and eventually your body will find itself going towards the weight it needs to be.

And of course, you should always try to get enough sleep each night. Don't over-exert yourself physically or mentally, and make sure you're eating healthy meals and drinking plenty of water. Proper rest, physical activity and nutrition are of utmost importance for both your physical health and your outer beauty. Your mental health is also helped by maintaining proper nutrition and a good sleeping schedule.

Outer beauty is directly related to inner health, whether it is physical, mental or emotional. You can't be beautiful unless you are healthy. It's much more important to make sure you are healthy and well rested than worrying about the size of your nose or your body. Take care of your inner self first, and the outer self will glow because of your inner health and well-being. That's true beauty.

Alternative Treatment Options for Skin Cancer

by Nishanth Reddy

If you someday become diagnosed with skin cancer and survive, one of the most worrisome issues you will face will be preventing a recurrence of the cancer. After successful treatment, your doctor will continue to schedule regular follow-up appointments to ensure that you remain skin cancer-free. Even regular medical attention is no substitute for exercising good skin care habits.

First, make sure to avoid any kind of prolonged exposure to the sun. This means that you should avoid the prime daylight hours of ten in the morning to two in the afternoon. If you must be out, always wear an appropriate sun block, and avoid direct exposure to the sun by wearing long-sleeved shirts, wide-brimmed hats, and light colors that help reflect the sun away from your body. Most importantly, to prevent a recurrence of skin cancer, you must conduct regular self-examinations, and consult your doctor immediately if you note any discolorations or suspicious moles or lesions.

But, that is not always enough and sometimes the unthinkable happens. So, if you are diagnosed with skin cancer you should know what your alternatives are.

The most important objective in skin cancer treatment is to eliminate the growth and then contain the spread of the cancer. There are many alternatives that will be used depending on what the diagnosis is.

• Kaposi's sarcoma is very serious and must be treated by the use of chemotherapy.

• Melanoma, if it has spread, which is one of the dangers of this type of skin cancer, will be treated the same way once the initial growth has been removed.

• If Paget's disease is the type of skin cancer that must be treated then a mastectomy is likely the only alternative.

What about other alternatives to ensure that there will not be a reoccurrence? Some people believe, and studies have shown some evidence to collaborate this belief, that if you use other treatments alongside the standard medical procedures there are potentially better outcomes. Nutrition is believed to be a big factor in recovery.

Research shows that using proteins, antioxidants and folic acid that are found in a variety of foods, including fish, carrots and broccoli, a person is able to potentially protect their body from further damage by the cancer cells. Vitamin C is also thought to be a very useful fighter when is comes to skin cancer and its potential spread.

Green Tea

Some people faced with the worries of skin cancer choose to get the advice of health care providers who practice medicine differently like naturopathic doctors. Often their advice is on what herbs can be used to treat the cancer. They' tell you that green tea is believed by many to be a healthy drink because it contains polyphenois compounds. These are very storing antioxidants.

There is research to support this and studies have shown that polyphenois may not only prevent skin cancer but may play an important role in the treatment of diminishing skin growths. Some treatments suggest unusual action be taken like coffee enemas several times daily or castor oil intake, or restricting calories while eating lots of fruit and vegetables.

Other studies have shown that a certain enzyme that is found in a variety of foods; including, but not limited to broccoli, cauliflower, celery and cabbage are very beneficial. The enzyme those vegetables contain is called indoles. Indoles and lectins, found in beans, are a powerful combination against cancer growth. Although still in the experimental stages of research, with the high success rates of their experiments there is good reason to hope that eating foods high in these enzymes will be helpful in the fight against cancer.

Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action. If you still have unanswered questions about skin cancer, you may find what you're looking for in our website:

Stop Grinding Teeth...Bruxism Cure Saves Smile And You Stop Grinding Teeth

Author: Avery Mann

As the economy worsens, stress is going to play a big part in our daily lives. As you know, stress can lead to heart problems, high blood pressure, ulcers, and for some grinding or clenching of the teeth. In fact, it is now widely understood by many experts that stress is the major cause of bruxism, the term given to the grinding and clenching of the teeth. The obvious problem is that people who suffer from bruxism wear away their tooth enamel, leading to tooth decay or worse. Clenching may in fact be worse for you than grinding, because the jaw is designed for chewing, not clenching. This all happens while you are sleeping, so how can you stop yourself?

There are many bruxism treatments on the market
. I'll bet that as you read this you are surrounded by them. Before you trust in some instrument or mold that some dentist offers, look at what using such a device will accomplish. These mouth guards, as they are called, are supposed to prevent your top teeth from touching the bottom ones. If you think about it, this method is flawed in two different ways. First of all, studies have shown that it is common for a sufferer to wake up the next morning, having chewed up the mouth guard. The second reason these devices fail, is that even if they successfully prevent you from grinding your teeth, it still hasn't gotten to the root of the problem. So you haven't stopped, you've just taken a detour.

Fear not if you are searching for other bruxism cures and treatments, there are a great deal of them. Besides traditional medicines and drugs, I'm sure you can find some herbs that might help. You can always try expensive therapy, an acupuncturist, maybe even a "craniologist." Here's a thought for you. Maybe there is a very simple program that won't cost an arm and a leg. If it were possible that for just a few minutes a day, this program will STOP you from grinding or clenching your teeth, would you put in the time? By making some simple life changes and performing daily 2-minute exercises you can be completely cured of bruxism. Think about it, no pills, therapy, or having to wear some funky mouth guard. A step-by-step, fully illustrated program reveals how to cure bruxism in just seven minutes a day. In addition you will also find out why the so-called experts are wrong about stress. Charles Harrison, a longtime bruxism sufferer has done all the experimenting and leg work for you. His program, "Save your Smile, Stop Grinding," will give you everything you need to stop grinding and clenching your teeth. You can find it at:

My RecomMANNdations You can find this and many more Natural Cures . Naturally cure acid reflux, constipation, lower blood pressure, end anxiety, stress, and more. The pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know, but I do.

Natural Hair Loss Treatment - Read if you want to Regrow Hair

by Bryan len

There are many reasons that may give rise to hair problems. Right from improper hairdos or staining process may make the scalp so stressed. If you do not rinse the hair properly after shampooing, or rinse it with highly chlorinated water, it may also bother the scalp and so the hair. A good herbal shampoo does not irritate the scalp. Natural hair loss treatment includes that with any shampoo, it is essential to rinse hair for removing the residuals of detergents stuck to the roots of the hair. In fact, remaining detergents quite often found to be chief cause of scalp irritation, seborrhea, damaging the hair and finally make them to fall. Selection of a proper shampoo and thorough rinse makes good sense to hair care.

Natural hair loss treatment depends upon the various types of skins and hair that usually call for different remedies to help improving the hair conditions. Herbal hair oil is one of the most adopted ways as a natural hair loss treatment. This is because such hair oils not only moisturize scalp but also help in reversing the dry scalp and dry hair condition and also in providing various important nutrients needed to maintain normal functioning of sebaceous glands and accelerate natural hair growth.

Herbal hair oil has been traditionally used to heal irritated dry scalp, to reduce effects of aging on hair root and overall appearance and also to tackle seborrhea and alopecia. Herbal hair oil works as nourishing support of natural skin rejuvenating agent

Natural hair loss treatment requires you to pay special attention to your hair. For instance, prior to head bath the applications mentioned below are helpful:-

Prior to shampooing the hair, the scalp must be properly massaged using a combination made up of grinded fenugreek seeds and sour curd. Apply this and leave it for about twenty minutes. Then wash it with other shampoos preferably herbal. People who do not wish to apply oil during day times can have oil application (you may take pure coconut oil) just before getting to bed and can then shampoo with some natural product in the next morning. This helps in restoring the lost oil from the scalp.

Another natural hair loss treatment widely used across India is usage of Indian gooseberry or popular as amla or amlaki. It is a powerful antioxidant fruit and is abandon in Vitamin C. Powder of Indian Gooseberry is the most powerful rejuvenator especially for the hair root and its shaft. It may bring lustier, prevent the dandruff and help strengthening the hair roots.

Natural hair loss treatment, especially for dry and damaged hair is an easy preparation of hair nourishing formula. You can simply mix equal amounts of light sesame oil, olive oil, honey and coconut milk. You can add one to two eggs to it and bit of coconut oil to the mixture to make it enhanced formula. Blend it altogether and use to nourish the hair root.

The Truth About Grow Taller Products!

by Peter White

You might read about a million and one ways by which you can increase your height and grow taller but when you try it yourself, it doesn't seem to work! All those grow taller and height increase programmes you tried, and failed. Why is that?

Well 9/10 times all these methods are simply physiological and when people talk about them, its not because they are lying... But its because they genuinely feel taller. If however, you measured them, before and after, I think they would be of the same height.

There's nothing wrong with feeling taller even if you're not, because let's face it, at the end of the day its all about self confidence no matter how you achieve it!

Short of taking Human Growth Hormones HGH (which may I add I am not a fan of at all, as its simply too artificial for me!) I'm not totally convinced that most of the other methods are even worth trying.

So does that mean apart from using HGH you can't grow taller? Well the answer is probably Yes. However, this means you can't grow taller than your TRUE height.

Its an unknown fact that the height you see in the mirror is not actually your true height. Instead, you are ACTUALLY 2 6 inches taller. 98% of people will suffer from over compression of the spine. This condition occurs over time and makes you shorter than you actually are.

To correct this problem there is a fantastic product which provides a brilliant exercise and diet plan that helps get rid of the excess curvatures and the compression in the fluid sacks between your vertebrae in the spine.

Many people use this compression effect to their advantage by following a program such as the one in the link below. It will help you to retain and extend your height to several inches - by exploiting just this single effect.

Now I dont normally recommend height increase products, but I have to say this one is brilliant. It actually makes you grow taller to your REAL height in a very short space of time. I hope it works for you.

To your height,

Determine Your Beauty With An Ideal Look

by Dave Stringham

Physical beauty is determined by the values of each society. In our western culture during the late 1890's for example, the large breasted woman with the small waist was the ideal. In the "flapper" era of the 1920's, women wanted slim bodies and very small breasts. In the past, an individual's body build has been determined for the most part by achieving the look they want through diet and exercise alone. Today women are able to alter the shapes of their bodies. Women with small, underdeveloped or asymmetrical breasts will like this safe, effective, surgical procedure designed to improve the contour of a woman's body by implanting either saline or silicone implants beneath the breast or chest wall muscles. For breast enhancement surgery in always check with your plastic surgeon and find one who suits your needs.

Prior to breast enhancement surgery, a complete medical history is taken in order to evaluate your general health. A thorough examination of the breasts is also done to document your geography and determine the most effective surgical plan. Your plastic surgeon will describes the procedure that would be best, what results might realistically be expected, and the possible risks and complications you should know.

Photographs will be taken as well as mammograms or x-rays if medical history necessitates. Preoperative instructions often include the elimination of certain drugs which contain aspirin in order to minimize the possibility of excess bleeding. Antibiotics and other medications designed to prevent infection will be prescribed for a few days prior to surgery, as well as a special medical cleansing solution. Homeopathic regimens and basic lab work will be prescribed as well.

Your breast augmentation is performed in our private Outpatient Ambulatory Surgical Facility under general anesthesia.

The breasts are carefully marked to indicate where incisions are to be made. One of the techniques most frequently used is an incision made in the breast fold or around the lower portion of the areola (the dark pink area circling the nipple). Another location frequently used is in the armpit as well as the navel. Breast tissue is raised to create a pocket either under the breast tissue or beneath the chest wall muscle. An implant is inserted into the pocket.

Occasionally different sizes of implants are used to correct breast asymmetry. In other cases of breast asymmetry fold position may need adjustment, or a breast lift may be recommended.

After the breast implant is securely in place, dissolvable sutures are used to close the incision. The breast augmentation takes from 45 minutes to one hour to complete, depending upon the procedure and extent of the surgery. You are usually in the recovery area for 45 minutes and discharged to go home with your caretaker.

Dave Stringham, the President of writes about plastic surgery in Las Vegas, Nevada and plastic surgery procedures such as Las Vegas breast augmentation, rhytidectomy, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, and liposuction.

Need a Few Beauty Tips?

Nothing shows a woman’s beauty like her skin. When you skin glows all of you glows. How many times have we heard people comment on how beautiful a pregnant woman’s skin is? “She has such a glow,” people will say.

Have you ever wished that you could do something to improve your skin and make it glow? Have you spent a lot of time trying to hide blemishes or discolorations, or dullness? Have you just wanted it to look cleaner and clearer naturally, before you put on your lotions and make ups? If yes, then here’s a few natural beauty tips that you can do for your own skin.

Natural Beauty Tip #1: Drink lots of water! That is right. The more water you drink, the better you skin will look – How’s that for some completely free beauty advice.

Natural Beauty Tip #2: Eat plenty of fresh vegetables – the more uncooked ones you eat the better. That is some of the best beauty advice you will ever get. Your body needs all those minerals and nutrients that you get from raw and fresh vegetables. Your skin will thank and reward you with a healthy glow.

Natural Beauty Tip #3: Do not smoke cigarettes. Nicotine yellows your skin, clogs your pores and gives you those nasty blackheads. That’s not only a beauty tip, it is a health tip. Think of what it must do to the rest of your body, if it can do that to your skin! Just don’t smoke.

Natural Beauty Tip #4: Take your vitamins! They keep you healthy, help you sleep, and if you are taking the right vitamins they nourish not only your blood but your skin. All that nourishment will make you look and feel younger. As we all know, when we feel good, we look good. The real secret to beauty!

Natural Beauty Tip #5: Get plenty of rest. Don’t stay up too late, then get up too early, and do it too many days in a row. Sure, there are those times when we have to go the extra mile and it may show for a day in our overall beauty. Just don’t make a habit of it. Sleep is the time when the body regenerates. Let it get its full regeneration.

Why You Might Like to Buy a Hair Wig

By : April Kerr
Hair wigs are artificial hair that can simply change the way you look as they cover your original hair. If you are not happy with the way your hair looks or have become bored of the regular straight or curly hair then try out a hair wig that will completely change your appearance.

There are various types of hair wigs which are made of different materials like human hair, animal hair and synthetic fibers. The use of hair wig has not started in the recent time and they are widely used in the fashion shows, theatres and movies.

But now-a-days people who are unhappy with their original hair are using the hair wigs. If the wig is a good quality one with excellent finishing then it will become really tough to identify it as a wig.

Various Types of Wigs

We know that the material used to make a hair wig can vary from human hair to synthetic hair. But when it comes to popularity the hair wigs made of human hair top the chart. They are generally made by thick and strong hair sold by the professional hair sellers who have thick and lustrous hair. The texture and color of the hair wig is absolutely natural.

This is the reason the human hair wigs look very much natural. The hair wigs made of horse hair or synthetic fibers are somewhat different from the actual color and texture of the human hair. You will find many people who are allergic to the artificial wigs. So from the medical aspects the human wigs are better options. Moreover the human hair wigs are often the most durable ones among all the other contenders.

History of Hair Wigs

The hair wigs are popularly in use from the historic times. The most prominent personality among the regular users of hair wigs is Queen Elizabeth I. She used to wear some of the most complex and sophisticated looking wigs which are famous and were often imitated by girls.

In fact many of the women from the elite class used to prefer wigs to make their hairstyle unique from others. In fact usage of hair wigs is still quite popular among the Romans and English people.

The other places where hair wigs were widely used are Assyria, Phoenicia, Greece and Egypt. If you are a regular user of hair wigs then you will be happy to know that the hair wigs have been worn by some of the richest and elite people of the world.

The price of a hair wig depends on the material used to manufacture it. The human hair wigs are more expensive compared to the nylon and animal hair wigs.

How to Choose the Best Plastic Surgeon for Breast Augmentation

When it comes to your breast augmentation, you should trust no one but the most qualified of all plastic surgeons. The plastic surgeon you choose will have a tremendous impact on both the safety and success of your surgery. If you run into complications during your surgery, an experienced surgeon has the skills to ensure a safe and beautiful outcome.

-Plastic surgeons who have earned a solid reputation in their field have earned the privilege of performing plastic surgery at accredited hospitals, or they house their own Honolulu plastic surgery suites that are fully accredited, class “C” surgical facilities by the AAASF. Is this the case for the one you are considering?

-Find out how many breast augmentations the plastic surgeon has done and for how many years has he been performing them.

-How many breast implants does the doctor perform on an annual basis?

-Request that the plastic surgeon show you some before and after photographs of patients he has performed breast surgery on. Pay close attention to the photos because no two surgeries are likely to be the exact same – and you want to ensure that the plastic surgeon’s aesthetics are in line with your own.

Evaluate Your Comfort Level

Finally, the most important part of selecting the best Honolulu plastic surgeon is how comfortable you feel as you sit and talk with the plastic surgeon. It is critical that you feel comfortable and at ease. If you don’t, then you should not put your body in the hands of the surgeon.

Do you feel comfortable asking questions of the surgeon? This is a key point. It is also important that you feel comfortable with the staff at the plastic surgery office. You need to know that all of your concerns will be addressed in a timely manner and not be brushed aside as unimportant.

Body Contouring Can Rejuvenate Your Youthful Look

By Dave Stringham

Liposuction can remove localized fat deposits from almost any area of the body. Many plastic surgeons use an "ultrasonic" technique, during which sound waves liquefy fat cells before liposuction begins. This allows the elimination of more tissue, especially in difficult to treat areas such as "love handles" and the upper abdomen. Ultrasound breaks up fibrous tissue in the fat, and gives smoother results than with other types of liposuction.

By injecting saline, anesthetic solution and epinephrine during liposuction ("tumescent" liposuction), bruising is minimized. Incisions for liposuction are small and easily hidden.

Also called a "tummy tuck", abdominoplasty can remove excess skin and fat, stretch marks, and scars on the lower abdomen. It corrects unwanted changes that are left after weight loss or childbirth. The procedure also tightens the abdominal muscles and decreases the waistline.

Abdominoplasty does not involve entering the abdomen itself, only more superficial areas of the body. The incisions for this procedure extend from just below the pubic line to the belly button.

A total body lift rejuvenates the skin and removes fat from the entire abdomen, thighs and buttocks. A body lift fixes abdominal skin excess, hanging buttocks and sagging thighs. The best candidates for this procedure have hanging skin but only modest amounts of fat. Patients are usually in their late thirties to fifties, or have lost a lot of weight. The incision for a body lift is hidden below the bikini line.

Breast augmentation more commonly known as a boob job, can be used to increase the size of small breasts, or in cases of lost breast volume or "droopiness" that occurs after breast-feeding or weight loss. Most implants used by board certified plastic surgeons are made of saline solution, so there is no danger if any leakage occurs. The implants are generally smooth because textured implants can cause rippling of the skin. To provide an ideal result, this procedure can be combined with a breast lift in some patients with significant "drooping".

Nipple sensation and breast-feeding are usually not effected by augmentation. The most common side effect is the formation of a "capsule" of scar tissue around the implant, which makes the implant feel hard. Many plastic surgeons minimize this by placing the implant under the muscle, as well as by using meticulous techniques to limit bleeding and the chance of infection. Incisions are hidden in the armpit or under the nipple.

Breast lifts elevate the breast and nipple, creating a more youthful appearance. The number and type of incisions depends on the extent of surgery needed by each patient. A plastic surgeon's goal is to decrease the overall number of incisions, basing their decisions on the amount of correction required. Implants are often combined with a breast lift to minimize the need for incisions.

Dave Stringham, the President of writes about plastic surgery in California and cosmetic surgery procedures such as liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, body lift, facelift, browlift, rhinoplasty, and otoplasty.
